Biking against Rheumatism in Europe

A new non-profit-making association called BaRiE (Biking against Rheumatism in Europe) is born on November 14th 2008.

Thanks to the associations CLAIR, ReumaNet and SRBR/KBVR, biking trips were organized to join the European congresses of rheumatology (EULAR):

2006 Brussels-Amsterdam
2007 Brussels-Barcelona
2008 Brussels-Paris

This brand new non-profit-making association will do everything possible to keep the spirit of the last years activities. To be able to do this, the founding team stayed in the administration of BaRie and recruited a dynamic and entrepreneurial team.

Good news: a godfather for BaRiE!

We were looking for a godfather for « Biking against Rheumatism in Europe ».

With the birth of BaRiE in 2008, we contacted Mr M’Bo M’Penza, who accepted this role. The changes in his sport carreer allow him to spend some time for the association.

It is a great honour and we all warmly thank Mr M’Penza to help us fighting against inflammatory rheumatoid diseases.

We are very pleased about this, because of the help he will bring us by his presence and his fame, but also for his brother Arsène, who is suffering from juvenile arthritis since his young age. Arsène is member of the association since many years and participates to all biking events.
